Shuttle service for wedding and other logistics!

We ask that you do not drive to the wedding ceremony and reception. A shuttle service will be provided. Shuttles will pick up from the Limelight, the Gant, and the Sky hotels at 3:45 pm on Saturday.  Please arrive to one of those locations then in order to make it to the ceremony in time! If for some reason you are delayed or cannot find the shuttle, you may contact Gretchen at 970.309.3862.  There is no cell service at the site of the ceremony so if you need to reach one of us the day of please call the house land line at 970.925.2418.

Shuttle service back to hotels in town will begin again at 9:30 pm and continue throughout the night. 

As a reminder, the Friday welcome reception is from 6 to 9 pm at the Limelight Lodge right in downtown Aspen (355 South Monarch Street). The Sunday brunch is from 9:30 to 11:30 am at the Gant Aspen (610 S. West End St).  These are both buffet events so feel free to stop by when you can!

We are so excited to see you all soon and as the weekend quickly approaches we wanted to be sure to post some new info that will answer a few of the questions we've been hearing.  Also, please check out a recent profile of Aspen in the Summer featured in the New York Times. 

As for the different events over the weekend: Friday evening will be 'smart casual' and has a fiesta theme so  get ready to eat tamales and drink margaritas! The wedding itself will be a more formal affair. You can leave your tuxedos at home though...and given the outdoor setting stilettos could also be a bit difficult.  Please also remember to bring a sweater or shawl since it will get cold once it gets dark at such a high altitude.  Dinner and dancing will be held in a heated tent so you don't need to worry too much about the temperature. The brunch on Sunday is causal and you should feel free to come for any portion of it either on your way out of town or once you wake up hungry! 

We've heard that the Limelight Lodge was still offering our guests the reduced rate, so if you have not booked a place to stay be sure to do so soon!

Allison and Ehren's Wedding Celebration

As you now know, we've set the date for our wedding.  It will be on Saturday, August 20, 2011 in Aspen, Colorado. 

Our ceremony and reception will take place on Allison's family's land just outside of Aspen. Ted, Allison's grandfather, built the house in 1980 on the confluence of two creeks -- Castle and Conundrum.  There is no more fitting a place for the two of us to get married.

We are so looking forward to celebrating with all of you.
